How Does Bird Netting Work ?

Netting is manufactured from knotted polyethylene twine, is flame resistant, and very strong. When installed, netting is virtually invisible.

Bird Netting is one of the most effective and popular methods for protecting structures and when installed correctly is 100% successful.

Bird netting acts as a barrier to birds, preventing them from landing within a netted area. This results in them moving on to a new location leaving you a clean, quiet bird free environment.

Bird netting is a useful form of bird control against pigeons, gulls, sparrows, starlings, swallows and house martins.

What is Bird Netting ?

A bird netting system consists of netting, which is attached to a number of tensioned wires fitted to the perimeter of the roof or structure.

The wire and fittings are as a standard stainless steel, the netting is manufactured from knotted polyethylene which is both resistant to water and UV stabilized to increase the longevity of the nets.

Bird netting is sized according to the targeted bird species.

Bird netting is available in a range of colours: black, white, stone and translucent.

Good design combined with a professional bird proofing installation will give a successful outcome in the control of birds at your premises.
